Her experience with chronic wounds and as a vascular surgeon have made her an invaluable member of the CPC Wound Core Lab where she assesses and adjudicates wounds to decrease variability in the assessment of wound type, size, and healed status.
Dr. Glebova is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Section of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado Denver. Dr. Glebova is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a clinically active practicing vascular surgeon with a busy endovascular and open surgical practice. She is a co-investigator on several aneurysm device and peripheral arterial disease trials.
Dr. Glebova has extensive basic science research experience with a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, and currently focuses her research on outcomes in vascular surgery patients and improving the quality of care available to these patients. She also serves as a peer reviewer for several journals, and is a committee leader for the Society for Vascular Surgery.
As both a surgeon and an endovascular specialist, she has an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities for research and product development in patients with arterial and venous disease. With her extensive bench research experience, Dr. Glebova is able to effectively guide translational research that amalgamates advances in basic science with the clinical needs of patients.
