In this position you will:

  •  Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure performance and capacity.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support of operating systems and all installed applications.
  • Manage, operate, maintain and support Windows systems through ongoing preventive maintenance, patching, system administration, and customer service.
  • Manage VMware environment, WSUS, WDS, DNS, network switches.
  • Maintain local and remote Windows PCs and laptops to include inventory, maintenance, imaging and configuration.
  • Provide desktop application support such as MS Office, email and other user applications.
  • Maintain printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Assist in development of processes and procedures to meet the evolving needs of a growing organization.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and act as a liaison to other departments and vendors on behalf of the IS department and organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Here’s what you will need to bring to the table:

Required Skills

  • Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Knowledge and experience with VMWare
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and group policies
  • Experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Desktop support experience

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Experience working with Cisco ASA
  • Experience working with Joomla and WordPress
  • MCTIP, MCTS, MCSE or MCSA certifications


  • Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience supporting a Windows 2008/2012 AD environment
  • Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Healthcare-related company experience, including knowledge of 21CFR Part 11 and HIPAA, preferred, but not required
